Welcome ! New Year, new site, new opportunities!
Happy New Year everyone. If you are reading this, you have found our new site, thank you ! Here at YMF, we are trying something new this year. For over 50 years, we have been focused on the commercial construction market, doing custom railing and metal fabrications almost exclusively. While we are still fully committed to our work in those fields, we are going to start working on some other projects, more consumer oriented work. This is the site for those efforts. If you want more info on the commercial side of things, if you are an architect or general contractor, or other commercial entity looking for guardrails and handrails, head on over to www.yorkmetal.com, where we maintain our presence on the web focused on that type of work. That website will be getting some hefty overhauls as well, as time proceeds.
However, if you are looking for some custom metal work, be it small items like crosses and art pieces, or perhaps some sheet metal work featuring CNC plasma and mixed media wall art, or you are wanting a custom grill or smoker, you have found the right place. Our inventory has gone live, but order processing will not be live until approx. January 12th. Until then, you can browse what is up, and get ideas on what you might be interested in pursuing.
Also, we are rolling out our Entertainment tree concept with the launch of this site as well. You can see several samples in our gallery, and as time goes by, we will begin adding the components to the online shop, so you can custom build your dream entertainment unit with any type of paint finish, wood panels, brackets, shelves, mounting options, you name it, we can do it. The system is intended to have a flat panel mounted to the face, with components on the shelves, with the cabling hidden behind the arms via the use of velcro securing devices to route the cables down the back of the unit to the floor. The base design has a mounting plate mounted directly to the floor, which is then concealed in the post for a clean, secure install. We will also be offering plates that can be designed to match whatever your desire might be, that you can place on the floor and mount the unit to, if you desire to not attach directly to the floor. We also intend to have some mobile support stands as well, for use in larger, mobile applications for trade shows or other, industrial applications. Your application may have not even occured to us as of yet, so feel free to ask. We would love to work with you to solve any specific issues you have.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to drop me an email at grantyork@yorkmetal.com. I would love to discuss how we can make your dreams come true when it comes to metal work.
